BGS / Tentacle whip** > SGS > AGS > ZGS

Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Torture > Amulet of Glory

Fire Cape > Ardougne 3/4 > Skillcape (t)

Warrior Helm > Blessed Rune Full helm

Blessed D'hide > Torso > Black D'hide body

Blessed Rune Platelegs / Plateskirt > Blessed chaps

Barrows Gloves > Dragon/Rune Gloves > Regen Bracelet > Combat bracelet

Rune Boots > Climbing boots

Berserker Ring (i) > Berserker Ring > Warrior Ring > Ring of Life

God Blessing of your choice.

Bandos Godsword special is much more useful here than SGS, as it lowers Defence making kills easier.

**Tentacle whip is only really recommended as a weapon if you have over 85 Attack. (BRING A DEFENDER WITH IT)

Range:

KpTeThi.png

Armadyl crossbow/Toxic blowpipe > Rune crossbow

Necklace of Anguish > Amulet of Fury > Amulet of Glory

Range Skillcape > Ava's Accumulator

Slayer helmet (i) > Blessed Rune Full helm > Blessed Coif

Blessed D'hide > Black D'hide body

Blessed chaps > Blessed Rune platelegs / plateskirt > Black D'hide chaps

Barrows gloves > Blessed bracers > Black D'hide vambraces

Ranger Boots > Blessed D'hide boots > Rune boots / Snakeskin boots

Archer ring (i) > Archer ring > Ring of Life

God Blessing of your choice

BGS > SGS

Spirit Shield > Blessed Rune kiteshield > Book of Law

Use godswords for special attacks as they will prove more efficient than Blowpipe special.

Prioritize using a Toxic Blowpipe over a Crossbow if you have 95+ Range.

How to get there

2JPBxOE.png

  1. Path 1 is how to get to God Wars Dungeon if you have only completed Death Plateau and do not have access to Trollheim Teleports. You will require Climbing Boots in order to use the Agility shortcuts along the way.
  2. Path 2 is from the Trollheim Teleport location. It is much shorter than the former and does not require Climbing boots.

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME AT GOD WARS, YOU MUST BRING A ROPE AS WELL

AND SPEAK TO THE FALLEN KNIGHT AT THE ENTRANCE BY THE WOLVES.

Getting Kill Count

The easiest way to acquire kill count is to kill Goblins in the Bandos Corner of the main room.

There are Bandos, Armadyl, and Zamorak monsters in this area, be sure to wear gear accordingly.

WHILE YOU GET YOUR KILL COUNT, TAKE NOTE OF THE GOBLINS DROPPING HAMMERS.

YOU WILL REQUIRE A HAMMER IN ORDER TO GET INTO THE BANDOS STRONGHOLD.

You can drop trick the hammer with one of your supplies by:

  1. Dropping a Potion outside of the door
  2. Picking up the hammer drop and entering the door
  3. Drop another potion inside of the door
  4. Return through the door to pick up the first potion you dropping
  5. Go through the door one last time, dropping the hammer afterwards to pick up your last potion

Inside the Boss Room

General Graardor

4hnZiy8.png

You are now ready to face the boss!

First, pot up. Then, your Tank should enter the room to grab aggro. Only after the Tank enters should you follow him.

As an attacker you will need to Protect from Range and use Ultimate Strength, and Incredible Reflexes.

You can use Steel Skin if you would like; it is personal preference.

Graardor has two attacks:

A powerful Melee attack which hits upwards of 60

And a Ranged attack which hits all players within the room for up to 35.

Be sure to keep above 50 Hitpoints while fighting Graardor or his minions as damage can quickly stack up.

Both Melee or Range users will want to use their Bandos godsword specials at the beginning of each kill. If someone has a Saradomin godsword and wishes to use it to heal, it would be wise to save it for a minion as they are easier to hit. Armadyl godsword specials should be used on Graardor.

If two attackers have Bandos godswords, they should stagger their Special Attacks so only one of them uses a special per kill. Be sure to communicate this with your other attackers.

After each kill, communicate with your team to see who needs bones the most. Bones to Peaches will be a primary form of food for you. Saradomin Brews are best used in emergencies only, otherwise kept for when the Tank needs one. Also, distribute Super Restore drops amongst yourselves based of who needs it.

Remember, you can still combo eat here in case of emergencies. Don't panic when your health gets low or you will more likely die.

General Graardor drops the Bandos hilt at a rate of  1:508.

He also can drop a Bandos Chestplate, Bandos Tassets, or Bandos Boots at 1:384.

Or, Godsword Shards for a rate of 1/256.

Minions

Do not underestimate the minions, they can still hit reasonably hard. After you finish killing Graardor, the last person to hit Graardor will be piled by all 3 minions. When this happens, be sure to put on Protect from Range and begin piling on the minions in this order:

Sergeant Steelwill (Mage)

FMZieDi.png

Sergeant Strongstack (Melee)

CbvEYSU.png

Sergeant Grimspike (Range)

z5qClDM.png

If your Tank has Guthan's, make sure you allow him to heal up using his Guthan's on the Sergeant Grimspike before killing him!

The minions here will occasionally drop 3 Chilli potatoes, 2 Sharks, or Kebabs. Distribute these in the same manner as the Super Restores.

The minions each have a chance at dropping either a Bandos Chestplate, Bandos Tassets, or Bandos boots at a rate of roughly 1:5,400.

They also can drop Godsword shards at a rate of 1:508

Nice guide!!

Out of all the gwd bosses, which one is most profitable for zerkers?

And in what way.

I want to say Sara.

Rng is a tricky thing though. You could very infrequently get drops at certain bosses, but have a lot of luck at another.

So I would personally stick to Bandos and Zammy as a Zerk. It is a lot more simple and you can more easily get a lot of kills in one trip.
