Big same, especially because my burn deck was budget, it was my first deck, didn't want to shell out for fetches and shock lands. But man did both of my decks get the people I played with salty af

Yeah I mostly play competitively. I travel to Columbus or Atlanta to play in pptqs. Im always hunting that pro tour invite. The Fnms i go to we have had 3-4 people actually go to pro tours.

Thats pretty dope, the lgs' in my area are mostly full of sweaty weirdos so I never went to a FnM. I have a family member that is pretty much in the same boat as you, but he also chills out and homebrews often as well
