Dear Vengeance,

Today I woke up to some very sad news, a member of the skilling community and a friend of mine known as Tobias/Snelly (current rsn = Sojo) passed away at a very young age. Snelly was always such a warm, positive and friendly person and radiated this positivity onto whoever he spoke with. I knew Snelly through the various skilling clans he was involved in and our joint love of agility and at one point we were both going for 200m (before I made this account) so spent hundreds of hours running roofs together, he currently sits at 113m agility exp.

 

A death in the rs community, particularly this one always hits be hard and reminds me of the deep and trusting friendships we all form online with each other, while an onlooker from the outside may not understand this some of the people I trust and love most in the world I have met through Runescape and I know many of you are probably in the same boat.

 

Please never take the company and time of your friends for granted, they are the ones who make life special and I am sure that the biggest reason may of us love Runescape is the community and the people we meet.

I lost my cousin over two years ago in car crash and I still miss him quite hard. I have a pretty big family but he was the closest one as we saw each other as brothers... Even worse, he saw me as his old brother, his idol... I got him to play RS 9 years ago, we used to go out every weekend and visit places we've never done before. We had so many things planned to do and all of a sudden those plans are gone.

 

Always think about the good times you've had with your lost ones. Cherish them and make sure you do the things in your life that you've always wanted to do.
