I don't really see how a spear is even op. In small manning It takes coordination / team work to smite someone out.Granded, if 20+ ppl ancient mace/dspear you , you're fucked but thats why you don't bring a +1 to a multy zone. If you are not prepaired to lose your +1 don't bring it, simple as.
