Vengeance Spear Unit - #VengPirates

Introduction: 

 

Following the success of recent spear trips in various locations, I have decided to start taking spearing more seriously, this means that when trips are hosted by myself or other members, the one leading the trips calls must be listened to, failing to do so will mean you are kicked from the trip and may or may not be banned from attending future spear trips. This includes over calling calls. Trips will be formed on a first come first serve basis, so if the team exceeds 6 (excluding masses) then you will not be able to attend until someone else leaves the trip.

 

Roles:

 

TBer - This role involves you having completed the Mage Training Arena mini-game as well as having unlocked the ability to cast Sara Strike outside of the Arena, you will also need 85 magic. When tbing, you need to make sure that you not only have tbs, but also bind runes as back up. The TBers should also use Sara Strike as its special attack drains prayer.

 

Healer/Stat Spyer - This role involves you having completed the quests "Lunar Diplomacy" and Dream Mentor as well as being 92 magic. The person doing the healer role should have runes to cast heal other and stat spy, his role is to let the team know the current targets prayer level as well as healing the target when he is low hp.

Freezer - This role involves you having completed the quest "Desert Treasure" as well as having 82 magic. The freezers main role is to initially freeze the target ONCE to prevent the target running into singles before the team moves in to spear.

 

Bait - This role involves finding a potential lure target with a +1 that is worth spearing, whether the item is an occult or and AGS it is up to you as a team to decide whether to go for the hit or not.

 

To Attend a trip, you will need to be using one of the styles as stated above, this means no spear/bolting only, bring magic is mandatory. Before a trip begins, each players role in the spear team will be decided together. An ideal trip involves 6 people, there may be instances where more people are invited depending on the type of spear/lure being attempted.

 

Mandatory Gear:

 

Mystic Sets are needed, when doing a spear trip, no one should be in welfare unless stated to do so by the people leading.

 

Sapphire Bolts (e) - The special attack drains prayer 

 

Dragon Spear - To spam stun the target

 

Ring(s) Of Duelling - to replenish special attack and stats at the duel arena

 

Games Necklace - a method of quick return (for Ven Hill)

 

Glory - To teleport out of 20+ wilderness 

 

Carrallanger Teleport - Quick returns to Mids spear trips

 

Pirate Hat/Bandanna - Uniform for all spear trips

 

Ancient Mace - Special attack drains targets prayer by whatever you hit. This will only be used for mass trips.

 

Lunar Ring/Beacon Ring/Seers Ring(i) - To maximize magic bonus

 

Avas/God Cape (MUST TAKE BOTH) - To Maximize accuracy and DPS.

 

It goes without saying that nobody should be teleporting out of a trip at any point if another team hits us regardless of the teams size UNLESS STATED BY TRIP HOST. When on a spear trip, you are still representing Vengeance as a clan, this means that we need to stand our ground and if that fails, we should be making sure we minimize the deaths we have. Following recent events, only FULL MEMBERS of Vengeance may attend these trips if vouched for.

Okay, so I've put some pictures together, so people can see a bit better what we bring - ofcourse, inventory setup all depends on personal preference.

 

 

 

 

Blitz/Spear:

 

Pretty straight forward. 100 ice blitz casts will last a long time.

 

 

 

 

TB/Spear:

 

Runes are for 18 entangles, 30 tb's, 50 sara strike casts. Also tank gear for running into a team, ya know.

Just realized, take another 15 blood and smoke runes, for 5 charge spells.

 

 

 

 

Stats spy:

 

Same as Blitz/Spear just take runes for 20 stat spy and 20 heal other spells.

 

 

 

 

Macing:

 

This most likely take place in pvp worlds/below lvl 20 wild. If we decide to go above 20 wild BANK YOUR UNTRADEABLES.

 

With the mace, you really want to maximize your attack bonus, since it has really low stats. Which puts the tyrannical ring at #1, but you will lose it if you die. (Same with the zerk ring here, I just took it for the sake of taking it.)

Also - it's not uncommon that other clans try to anti-lure you. Happened to me before, it sucks, but you can't change it. So watch out that you don't risk what you can't afford to lose. Also don't bring Fury (or), Gilded Platelegs, not worth it to lose couple mill over nothing.
