Need help with choosing gaming mouse and headset!

Well i've played loads of MMO's did a tonne of research into the best peripherals etc. and ultimately a lot of it was nit picking and elitist views.

Played CS:GO, Cod Online, Archeage, BDO, RIFT, SWTOR, MapleStory, OSRS, Warframe, league of Legends and I'll tell you what I settled on;

Keyboard

  • Corsair K95  - Love it, 18 programmable G keys on the left side (Mostly saved them to one click my email or runescape log on, very handy) a Macro record button to program keys to behave a certain way, 3 presets for what buttons you want to shine depending on your game and a volume wheel at the top which is handier than buttons to control volume. It has Mechanical blue keys as well but ultimately i'd have preferred browns.

Mouse

  • UtechSmart Venus  - This is the best buy i've made in about 3 years aside from my weights bench and PC itself, my God. Here i'll link it;

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00FNKMVUO/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

        I genuinely can't speak highly enough of this mouse I use it for everything, there's a DPI adjustment (Set it high for League and COD set it super low for CS:GO) in the middle below the mouse wheel, the left side has 12 programmable buttons! I have button 3 programmed to attack move click on League, the rest are for their corresponding buttons, they've made all the keys on my bloody keyboard irrelevant in mmos because it's so much faster micro-managing with these! Fully light customizable with a simple program, different weights you can plug in and different profiles, I actively use 4 and you can have up to 6 and change them by clicking the button underneath. It cost me £32 and I can't imagine how spending double that for a Razer would ever be justifiable when this is so good.

Headset

  • Headset - Now this I won't be much help with, I use a pair of Music Headphones anyway, Beyerdynamics and I love my music so unless i'm in TS i'm using them and since I don't play many FPS games there's not much use for gaming headsets. That being said since looking into Vengeance I ordered a 20 pound pair of chinese made ones and honestly they really aren't bad, nothing massively special but they're comfortable, have good audio quality and they'll tell you when someone on the enemy teams coming in behind you like most do, good voice quality too so if you're not looking to splash out you could get these;

But for the love of God don't get the G9000's if you have a PC get the G2000's there is absolutely no difference in them AT ALL (Other than 7000 numbers in the name) they are the exact same headset, except the g9000 has a single cable for the Headpone AND Mic jack which means you have to then buy a splitter which is more messing about, the G2000 is for PC's and has two split cables one for each function, so get that. If you have a mobile phone or laptop get the g9000's but they're so ridiculously Chinese made it's hillarious they turn up with a different name, ridiculously broken English descriptions and no real special features but they really aren't bad at all.

If you do want a good set of gaming cans i've heard "HypeX" have some of the best, they're about £70 or less and have some of the highest overall ratings online from customers and reviewers.

Good luck have fun!
