A viking guide to converting your zerker into a med *complete*

Reqs and the Exp:

Defence:

70 / 75 Defence (676,115 / 1,148,909 xp from 45)

Prayer:

 77 - clan requirement for meds (1,308,945 from 55)

There are a number of ways to do this, I chose to burst the majority in one day to get 95 mage aswell - cost less than 5M:

 

 (this was 3k casts, ended up using 6k to get me to 66 NMZ the rest)

DO WHATEVER IS BEST FOR YOU

 

Prayer:

You have two main choices:

High altar dragon bones:

 

Gilded altar dragon bones:

 

Arcane and Dexterous prayer scrolls:

Price for both as of 31/01/2020 is 44.4M (44,429,748gp) - git fucked whoever bought this when it was 80M+

 

In total this should set you back around 51.1M, however, both Arcane and Dex are on the decline over time and bones appear to be fluctuating a lot.

 

Quests:

Ideally you would do all the defence quests available, but the only absolute necessities when upgrading from a Zerk are:

Fremink Isles (nezzy)

King's ransom (pre-req)

Camelot training room (fight club and piety)

Roving Elves (crystal shield)

Some of the others I chose to do:

Grinds:

Dragon defender:

Bit of a bitch to get but very worth, my kc:

The clue, natures, long bone were in the 1/1000's

 

Western Hard:

Do this for void elite and extra chance for bolts to proc (don't be bad, JUST DO IT). Skills and quests required:

 

Crystal shields:

Getting these discounted down to 150k is very important because of the stats a crystal shield gives:

Charges 1-4 will set you back 2.1M
