I decided to post an update since I've had a rather tragic first experience with DS2 today after struggling to find Bob the Cat for well over an hour (and over a hundred world hops), and now succumbing to Robert the Strong even with brews and purple sweets. I think I'm going to focus on finishing off the quests that give Attack and Defence xp over the next few days (e.g. King's Ransom and the Knight Waves Training Grounds for Piety) and then AFK my melee up in NMZ to around 60/85/70 before I come back to face my man Big Rob.
