Guide to attack levels for zerker/rune pure accounts

So I see this topic way too often and I thought i'd clear up the topic some to hopefully shed light on the situation.

 

Let's Break it down

 

60 attack

 

Max Cb at 94 with the following stats:

 

60 attack

99 strength

45 defence

99 hp

55 prayer

 

75 attack

 

Max Cb at 99 with the following stats:

 

75 attack

99 strength

45 defence

99 hp

55 prayer

 

99 attack

 

Max Cb at 107 with the following stats:

 

99 attack

99 strength

45 defence 

99 hp

55 prayer

 

This being said let's compare some of these stats and the pro's and cons of each build.

 

 

60 attack

 

• Has lower combat level to damage output ratio.
• Will have higher hitpoints than accounts in the same combat bracket with different builds (i.e 75 attack zerks)
• Has a hard time hitting through defence of high level targets (generally in deep wildy multi pking)
• Larger level gap between other builds (generally in deep wildy multi pking)
• Slower experience gained per hour than higher attack builds due to inferior weapons/less dps due to inaccuracy.

75 attack

 

• Higher XP/hour training rates due to more dps through accuracy and superior weapons.
• Much better than 60 attack counterparts when it comes to deep wildy multi pking due to ability to wield godswords which have high accuracy and staff of the dead.
• Can NH hybrid pk due to staff of the dead.
• Can do limited forms of PVM due to 75 atk and godsword accuracy.
• No distinct combat level advantages.
• Stale PvP bracket of bounty hunter. (primarily other 75 atk zerkers)
• Does not distinctly excel over 60 attack or 99 attack with respect to a sole purpose of single pvp/multi pvp

99 attack

 

• Highest Xp/hour training due to higher accuracy leading to higher dps.
• Highest possible efficiency as a rune pure/zerker build in terms of multi pking due to highest accuracy possible.
• Able to do limited forms of PvM but best of all 45 def builds.
• With proper skill can be lethal no matter what combat level opponent is.
• Does not particularly excel at 1v1 style pking due to high combat level
• Can be attacked by higher combat levels than multi pk partners if not deep enough in wilderness.

 

 

CONCLUSION

1. 60 attack zerkers generally excel more in 1v1 PvP situations in exchange for not being as effective in multi pking due to inability to effectively attack with a range to melee switch. This makes them a better choice for focusing on 1v1 PvP situations.
2. 75 attack zerkers generally are a nice mix between being effective in 1v1 PvP situations and multi pking but unfortunately not particularly thriving in either. This makes them a nice choice for those who wish to do both 1v1 PvP and Multi PvP in exchange for not having statistical advantages in either.
3. 99 attack zerkers generally excel more in Multi PvP situations and are also good attackers for PvM in exchange for not being as effective in 1v1 style PvP. This makes them a better choice for those who wish to focus on Multi PvP situations as well as those who take interest in PvM also.

The lesson you guys can learn from this is: If you want some variety in your account build, go for higher attack but don't max it because you might suffer in 1vs1.
