Hmm, hadn't considered it before but say we occupy Mars would religion have a place since when most religions were made their God's were assumed to be above earth without taking earth into account. If god made the earth in 7 days in Christianity what would a Christian say about his influence on say, Mars where no new life exists. Also if God existed when things got bad on earth he caused floods, if you could just go to Mars what would be said?

Religion is just an ideology which is not particuarly different from any other ideology.  You can’t ban it, it’s impossible.
