Okay I have I've narrowed it down to hps or def. which one of the 2 capes do you all think I should go for?

It depends on how much you love the colour blue.  The Defence cape is very blue... a sky blue on a hazy sunny day.

 

The Hitpoints cape is a classic cape.  Always looks sleek, so you can't go wrong.
