Basically there have been different possibilities, but I think the latest is this one: there will be a 1 tick delay between spear stuns, in which you can eat, drink, put pnecks/tank gear on.

 

With that change it will be harder to smite out people, you basically need a shit ton of ancient maces.

 

For clan fights the spear will still be super useful tho

Seems like you don't understand the full concept of d spear special attack. Get a couple friends to use their d spear spec on you and you'll understand
