Personally id go for a computer with ssd but spec wise i think they are about the same. So really comes down to personal preference.

1400 euros you'd have a gtx 1080 with an i5 skylake i think, i wouldn't spend it on a laptop tbh.

 

these laptops r full hd, 15-17 inch and can't run games on ultra, not even high for some games.

I bought a MSI with 980M for my brother as bday present.

I got it second-hand, cost me only 1200€ (resale price around 1.9k) and it has better gpu than some desktops with over a year of warranty.

Boots in ~4 seconds, the screen is joy to look at (unlike some TN panels Lenovo might be using) and gives 100% steady 50fps on RS :)

 

I mean, have yet looked for second-hand shops on the internet?

As soon you take that thing out of shop its price goes down like 30%.
