So with the addition of Sand Crabs..

Creating a low prayer (1-13) 1 def pure is easier than ever.

 

 

I've heard rumors that sand crabs are 65-85K xp/hour. (I haven't tested - but I might do some more research later.)

 

Location: Zeah (see spoiler for exact location)

 

 

 

Previously, the only good spots to train - P2P - on a no/low prayer pure were:

 

-- rock crabs (Relekka spot super meh, Waterbirth spot OK)

 

-- experiments (it's 2016 there's no way i'm not afking so fuck this spot in particular)

 

 

 

With that information in mind, there's your reason for why I've personally never made a no/low prayer pure. It was too much commitment and focus. However...

 

I'm probably going to make a 13 prayer pure after I finish maxing my zerk.

 

 

 

I need to do some more research, but as of right now this is what I've heard/surmised about the sand crabs:

 

-- semi-afk (good, strong, first selling point - I know)

 

-- 65-85K/hr exp (This one as of now is considered an untested number, might update later.)

 

-- no cannons (Quote from Jagex's official news post about the update: "These crabs have low defence, high health and, due to being made of sand, cannonballs simply pass right through them.")

 

-- decent potential drops (ranarr seed [rare], grimy ranarr [rare], 1-5 noted seaweed [common], and global rare drop table)
