This is my Rune Pure guide! I've had it for a while on Higher Force forces, thought I'd share it with everyone else!

Attack Xp

Green = Required
Yellow = Optional



Attack level Milestones

40 Attack - Rune Weapons
50 Attack - Granite Maul
60 Attack - Dragon Weapons
70 Attack - Abyssal Whip
99 Attack - Maxed out Rune Pure


Defense Xp

Green = Required
Yellow = Optional
Light Green = Recommended



Defense level Milestones

40 Defense - Rune Armour
42 Defense - Void
45 Defense - Berserker Helm & Max def level

Prayer Xp

Green = Required
Yellow = Optional



Prayer Level Milestones

16 Prayer - B gloves & 10% attk & str boosts
25 Prayer - Protect Item
26 Prayer - 10% Range boost
31 Prayer - 15% Strength Boost
34 Prayer - 15% Attack Boost
43 Prayer - Protect from Melee
44 Prayer - 15% Range boost
45 Prayer - 15% Magic Boost
52 Prayer - Smite

Most Rune Pures will max out at 52 Prayer
It is possible to max out at 53 Prayer without gaining a combat, if you have 99 everything except defense.


Strength Xp

Below is a list of spots, with a recommended Strength Level. The assumption is that you will have 50+ attack.



Magic Xp



The most common way to train is via High alching at level 55 Magic
If you are rich, use teleport spells to level 55
If not, you can cast curse on the zammy mage under varrock castle stairs
Or you can use fire strike spell on fire giants (chance of rune item drops)
Note: If you curse of High Alch, you will not get any HP xp.
Other ways to train, if you are super rich, is to burst (lvl 70), or barrage (lvl 94) at Ape Atoll.
You also mage Metal Dragons (Iron or Steel) and hope for some Dragon Drops.
Magic level milestones
Level 55 – Alching
Level 70 – Ice Burst
Level 82 – Ice Blitz
Level 85 – Tele block
Level 94 – Ice barrage/vengence
Level 99 - ownage

Rune Defender

You need 130 Combined Attack and Strength Levels to Access the Warrior’s guild. You attain tokens in the guild, then you kill Cyclopes to get a Rune Defender. Once you get your rune defender, make sure to keep your addy and mith ones too! In case you ever lose your Rune defender, you can easily get it back, and not have to go through the whole process again.
Rune defender acts as a shield and has great attack bonus, making it of great use.

Void Armour

To obtain this armour, you have to play the pest control Mini Game. The void armour consists of gloves, a top, bottom and helmet. There are three types of helmets, Ranged, Melee and Magic. Depending on which helmet you wear, you will get a 10% accuracy and damage boost in respect to the skill. However, for magic, you only get a 10% accuracy boost.
This armour is great for pking as well as training! It takes a few hours to get, but is worth it.


Figher Torso

Play Barb Assault for it
It has almost the exact same stats as a rune plate. Only difference is, it has -40 mage defense, (rune plate has -30) and it gives +4str



Fire Cape

Best Cape in the game giving +4 str and +2 Prayer
To get it, you must complete the Fight Caves and defeat Jad
It is recommended that you are 43 prayer and at least 70+ Ranged before attempting.





Prayer Book

You need to complete Horror from the Deep to obtain it
There are 3 books, Zammy, Guthix and Sara
The best one is Zammy, it offers +8 to all attack bonus and +5 Prayer when the book is filled with pages. The pages are very expensive, currently around 400k a page
A cheaper alternative is the guthix book, giving +4 to attack bonus and +4 to Defense. Currently Guthix pages are going for 50k each
Sara book is +8 to def bonus, so it is not commonly used
The benefit of having this prayer book is that it can help you with range training(if you are using knives or crossbow)
The Prayer book is also helpful if you are pking as a mage




God Spells

You have to do the Mage Arena Mini game
Need 60 Magic
Completing the mini game lets you choose a cape, guthix, zamorak or Saradomin
This cape gives you +10 Magic attack bonus
You also get to choose a god spell to use
Flames of Zamorak – lowers your targets magic by 5%
Claws of Guthix – Lowers your target’s defense by 5%
Saradomin Strike – Each hit you do, even 0's lower your opponent's prayer by 1 point
This spell has maximum 20 damage
If you use charge(level 80 magic spell) you can hit maximum 30s
It is useful if you like to pk with magic and want to teleblock people

How to train the Required Skills

Agility

Since Agility is a very boring skill to train, might as well quest for it, and also help yourself get QP for RFD
Tourist Trap – Use both xp on Agility – 9300 Xp
Grand Tree – 7900 Xp
This puts you at level 32
Troll Romance – 8000xp
Underground Pass – 3000xp
Fremennik Trials – 2800 xp
Recruitment Drive – 1000xp
You are now at level 38, 1.6k xp to level 39
Cold War  - 5000 xp (10 hunt, 30agil, 30 craft,34 con, 15thieve reqs)
You are now at level 39, 224 xp to level 40
Royal Trouble – 5000xp (40 agility, 40 slayer req + throne of miscellania quest req)
You are now at level 41 Agility
Darkness of Halowvale – 7000xp (5 con, 20 min, 22 thieve, 26 agil, 32 craft, 33 mage, 40 str req, & in aid of myreque quest(gives def, beware))
This should put you at level 42 Agility
From here, you can train to level 48, or you can do One Small Favor and use the 2x 10k xp lamps on agility, and if you do so you will be level 46
You have to option to continue questing, by doing Icthlarin’s Little Helper for 4000 xp
Another is to do Cabin Fever quest(requires 47 prayer) – 7000 Agility XP
If you do all these quests, you will be level 47 Agility, with 3k to 48
You can just finish training now, I recommend the Brimhaven arena, as you get tickets to exchange for xp


Thieving

Start off by doing the following
Biohazard – 1250 xp
Fight Arena – 2175 xp (also gives 12.1k attk xp)
The Giant Dwarf – 1500 xp
Hazeel Cult – 1500xp
Tribal Totem – 1775 xp
The Golem – 1000xp
Creature of Fenkenstrain – 1000xp
You are now at level 27 Thieving
You can do the following quests, no particular order
Fremennik Trials – 2800 xp
Hand in the Sand (49 craft req) – 1000 xp
Icthlarin’s little helper(50 hp, 43 prayer req) – 4500 xp
The Feud(30 thieve req) – 15,000xp
Spirits of Elid(37 thieve req) – 1000 xp ( also gives 8k prayer)
You should now be at level 39 Thieve, you can do the following quest, then finishing training to 53, or you can just go train
Rat Catchers – 4500 xp
I recommend thieving master farmers to level 41, after that you can go to pyramid plunder until level 53
Other methods include black jack thieving at level 45

Mining

I’m sure the majority doesn’t enjoy this skill, but here are some quests that will help training easier in the long run
Plague City – 2425 xp
Doric’s Quest – 1300 xp
Dig Site- 15,300 xp
Another Slice of H.A.M – 3,000 xp
The Lost Tribe – 3,000 xp
The Giant Dwarf – 2,500xp
This puts you at level 37 Mining
Power Mine Iron until 50 Mining for Heroes quest
Continue power mining for Lunar Diplomacy to level 60
My recommended spot is the 3 iron rocks north east of Ardy

Smithing

The Knight’s Sword – 12,725 Xp
Elemental Workshop – 5,000xp
Elemental Workshop 2 – 7,500 xp
The Giant Dwarf – 2,500 xp
This puts you at 37 Smithing
Just buy Iron bars and make iron knives for 40 smithing
Or buy steel bars and make cannon balls, you profit doing this

Crafting

Dwarf Cannon – 750 xp
Goblin Diplomacy – 200 xp
Murder Mystery – 1406 xp
Sheep Shearer – 150 xp (takes like 2 min to do, free QP)
The Giant Dwarf – 2,500 xp
Shades of Mort’ton -2,000 xp
Nature Spirit – 3,000 xp(gives Def xp too)
The Golem – 1,000xp
Fremennik Trials – 2800 xp
Shilo Village – 3,875 xp
Elemental Workship 1 – 5,000xp
Elemental workshop 2 – 7,500xp
You are now at level 37 crafting
You can now buy flax and spin it for level 40, for RFD reqs
You can continue doing so until level 61 for Lunar Reqs, or you can buy cow hide and make leather items, or buy gems and gold bars, and make necklaces, ammys and rings

Herblore

Druidic Ritual – 250 xp
Jungle Potion 775 xp
Digsite Quest – 2,000 xp
Recruitment Drive – 1,000xp
Shades of Mort’ton – 2,000xp
You are now at level 21 Herblore
You can buy supplies and make anti poison potions to level 25

Nice guide, buts its outdated and fucks you up if you wanne do diaries

You can follow it up to the defence quest part. You skip the holy grail do all the others. You also make sure you started all diaries and get tears of guthix mini game done + get max kudos and claim the rewards.

 

that way you are able to do the lumby hard + varrock elite. (and ofc ardy elite/wildy elite, fermy elite, western provs)
