Salve (ei) vs Fury for Chinning

Both setups were measured using ranging potions whenever falling below 90 ranged, Eagle Eye Prayer, and using the "short fuse" attack style.

 

Setup one: (salve) 81-82 ranged.

 

 

310k ranged xp per hour, 100k hp exp per hour, 81-82 ranged level. average xp per chin : 221

chins used in one inventory : 918

total range experience gained in one inventory : 203,500

 

Setup two (fury) 82 ranged

 

With this setup, the experience range varied vastly, i would not recommend a fury below 90 ranged due to splashing chinchompas. (they had families, don't make them die for nothing) With this setup my experience ranged from 270k-305k xp/hr. i did not want to keep wasting chins, so i ported early.

 

Conclusion: Below 90 range, salve (ei) wins out due to avoided splash dmg. I will revisit this when i am 90 ranged and again at 95 range.

 

 

Also, With this setup, i would bring a maximum of 1000 chins per run.

Just a small thing but use an anti-dote++ instead of super antipoison, it's a lot cheaper and I think slightly better.

 

Salve (ei) is especially good cos chin hits are based on the main target being hit or not.

 

Occult is better for bursting/barraging though.
